So i have a plan to complete my CIPS exams by November. Already booked and paid for the May exams so i am hooked as i can be, no running back now. I am only sitting for one exam due to various reasons.
I like that i am challenging myself on this because i need to complete this qualification this year. Its a commitment i am not ready to quit. The study has been hard. My challenges so far:
i. Studying after work sometimes gets postponed and i get easily derailed
ii. It gets boring studying alone
iii. Most times i am not sure if i am grasping anything
iv. Its overall difficult to maintain concentration
My strategies which are working so far are:
i. I get down to studying the minute i get home so as not to get derailed by others upcoming issues
ii. I read through my course texts and i write down notes just like i would in a class
iii. I answer the Learining Activity questions and Feedbacks as a way to summarise the chapters
iv. I study one chapter per day
Come July i will sit for 2 more exams and then final 2 in November, the grand finale!
